Happy Thursday! I’ve been sick for the past two days (the fun just doens’t stop) from drinking from a water bottle that had been in my car for a few days. I’ll spare you the details, but no, it’s NOT safe to do this. No matter how thirsty you are. And yes, it was a metal bottle, not plastic.
So, here we go. Real Simple opps, and then something you need to know and should definitely share with your clients. All of them.

More opps coming next week!!!

Call Her Annoyed: The Worst PR Move You Can Make Right Now
Yesterday, I read a Substack post from Beth Booker, who vented about how challenging it is to secure media placements these days. She made some good points, but I didn’t agree with everything she said (and that's okay, we don’t all have to agree with each other about everything, and trying to do that is exhausting—also I am such a millennial). Yes, the media landscape has changed. Yes, it’s more competitive. But there are still so many opportunities out there. This might sound simple, but it’s crucial to position yourself properly. And that’s something people seem to miss so much of the time.
We saw this during COVID. Many businesses folded, but others found ways to survive—and even thrive. The same logic applies to public relations. The game has changed, but the core principle remains: find a way around the obstacles. But also, stop doing this!
What’s this?
The answer is behind a paywall.
